Guys: Our first flight was a success. We all familiarized ourselves with the P-51D Mustang, particularly as pertains to cold weather and high altitude operations. Now we will fly from Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, to Ketchikan, Alaska (PAKT). Instead of high altitude, we'll be flying through scenic river valleys down to Haines, AK, then a direct boogie through the inland straights of Southern Alaska. Here is the SkyVector flight plan: https://skyvector.com/?ll=59.9814027825 ... LAE%20PAKT.
The ICAO for Ketchikan changed from PAKX to PAKT sometime back. If you , You'll need to select the "Use Navigraph for all features" option in the Scenery Library menu when you import the SkyVector route into Little Nav Map. If you program your GPS with PAKX as your destination you'll end flying West across the Gulf of Alaska to a desolate strip next to Lake Clark, waaaayy out in the boonies. So we're going to PAKT.

Won't personally be able to make it, but this route looks sweet.

Due to a work commitment that's just come in I won't be able to join you for this leg. Apologies and have a good flight.
