Friday, April 23 - The Trans-Siberian Adventure Leg 6
Our sixth leg takes us to Krasnoyarsk, the city that author Anton Chekhov judged to be the most beautiful in Siberia. Which is good, because we'll have something to look forward to after yet another trek over the mostly unremarkable Siberian steppes. (This should be the last, though, because the leg after this will take us to an airport that is actually more than a thousand feet above sea level.)
P-40s or similar for this one.

You might want to rethink this: Local takeoff time: 1800
I just took a short test hop taking off at 1715 and by 1800 the sun was very low on the horizon.
It is difficult under sunny skies to see the RR tracks and next to impossible in the dark.

In my sim the Sun is still well up at 1800, and about on the horizon at 1940. I guess we should confer before the flight. I remember when we did the Norway tour my sky was often brighter than others' and I've no idea why.
