The well known annual pilgrimage to Mecca, the Hajj, happens around the beginning of July each year, and is expected at least once in the lifetime of every adult, healthy Muslim who has the financial and physical capacity to travel there. Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage, can be performed at any time. It is not obligatory, but is recommended in the Quran, and for this we have been tasked to carry pilgrims to Mecca from the more remote regions of Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
