B377 not found in May 11 2020 update

Post by Warbirds »

Tried the update but it could not find my installation of the B-377. It is the Steam version but I did point it to the correct FSX folder.

Does it find any of your A2A aircraft? I asked about COTS because I didn't know if you had it installed. If it was true it was installed, then you would see the installer declare the Stratocruiser was "not found" but the COTS would be declared "found" because that upgrade changes the identity of the product. Since it didn't find COTS either it sounds like it's not seeing the installation of your A2A aircraft.

Yes, the standard 377 and the version with COTS installed are handled separately by the legacy updater, and it even includes a message along the lines that it's normal for the B-377 not to be detected for COTS customers. However, if you have installed COTS and it's not detecting the COTS version of the 377, there's a problem somewhere.

Thanks,
