Stumbled upon this photograph today, of a cloud seeding P-40. Thought it was kind of interesting so I wanted to share it with you guys.

Interesting. I wonder what happened to it? Looks like it has seen better days in the picture. So what did it do? Carry chemicals in a modified drop tank or something then drop it over clouds?

The picture by Scott Rose (the one second from bottom) is the current scheme.
Interesting note, the "Bill Destafani" listed as a previous owner is better known as 'Tiger', the pilot of the highly-modified P-51D "Dago Red" at the Reno Air Races.

great find. The one photo is dated 2007 but the style of photograph makes it look pre 1970s. It would be interesting to see where this plane is now.
