P-40 Sound max volume P3D Crash

Post by florence »

Hi . I have 2 of your wonderful Comanche and P-40 products, only the P40 gives me this type of problem when I turn up the volume to max or almost max P3D freezes and crashes, in your illustrious opinion can this problem be solved?
Thanks Davide

Hello Davide,

This is a new one! Which volume control are you referring to exactly? Is it one in P3D itself, the one in the Shift 3 menu, or another one somewhere else?

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick sorry I have not specified, I mean the volume of the PC speakers the classic system consisting of two speakers and a subwoofer in my Logitech case.
Thanks David

Are you sure the two are related David? Whether you're adjusting your speaker volume via Windows or using a control on the speaker itself, it shouldn't cause any reaction from P3D. That's unless the volume is so high that it's shaking something like a graphics card in its socket.

Thanks,
Nick

I adjust the volume by means of a Logitech control (photo attached)

Hi, after some tests I found the solution to the problem ... I changed the NVidia drivers and everything seems magically solved ...

No worries David, even when its certainly nothing on our end we will at least try our best to point the person in somewhat the right direction for troubleshooting the tech issues.
