Re: installed accu feel receive DirectX error
The latest Direct X9 is required for Accu:Feel to work correctly. If the one attached tot he installation doesnt work please try one direct from microsoft. Note that direct X11 is NOT direct X9 the two are separate.

Re: installed accu feel receive DirectX error
Lewis, I think that A2A needs to clarify this statement about DirectX 11 is not DirectX 9. If DirectX 11 is installed on your system DirectX 9 will NOT install over 11. You should install 11 on one of your test system to insure that Accu Feel is in fact working as designed.
I have noted several times on this forum that all updates direct that DirectX9 install and then stop when it finds a newer version of DirectX. Just to test this I used your info above and again DX9 always comes back with a statement that a newer version of DirectX is installed on my system and terminates the installation of DX9.
Please check this out and let us know

Re: installed accu feel receive DirectX error
THANK YOU! I thought I was crazy. I have Windows 7 OS & DirectX 11 is already on the system. Couldn't figure out why I would need to install a lower version. But I never got the message that DirectX was already installed. Instead I got the following message when attempting to install DirectX:
An internal system error occurred.
Plase refer to DXError log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem.
DirectX did not install. The last time I attempted to install DirectX, I did not agee to accept the terms.and it did not install DirectX that time either.
Just so you know, I got it to work by installing A2A as the Administrator, which was not information that was provided. I have not tested it yet, but will A2A still work since the DirectX portion of the download was not installed?
Again Thanks,
hocdaddy

Your system may already be upto date on the direct X9 install, if it works then your system will already be upto date and no update is needed. Re: installing as administrator, this should be done for all software on a windows vista/64bit OS. Without installing as admin you can run into all manner of issues with security settings.
thanks,
