How about an option to add sonic boom effects?

Hmm... I thought a pilot could not hear the "boom" made by his aircraft ? (since the boom is, technically, behind him).

Why limit effects to cockpit only, plus having the sound effect available as an option lets users choose immersion in a sensory limited simulation. Additionally the physical effect of the shock wave on the aircraft could be a vaiable so that pre supersonic design experiences control inversion or loss of control versus post supersonic designs that can fly transonically.

LOL! Mach 1 in a cub... The two jets they have in development could probably hit M1.
