A2A Fix for FlyElite Hardware

Post by BonanzaDude »

I was talking with the developer at FlyElite about their hardware not working with the A2A planes. Are there any plans to develop an API for the A2A planes so that I can use my FlyElite throttle quadrant? The hardware is fantastic and makes flying so much better that the plastic hardware that I am using now. I know I am in the minority here, but I want to be able to use my hardware for current and future products from A2A. That's not happening now and I am sure others are experiencing the same problem based on the comment that I got from FlyElite.

PLEASE!!!

Thanks,
John

If the hardware is mappable which for a throttle quadrant you ideally want it to be then you can simply map the hardware as you would with any other unit from your FSX settings or FSUIPC etc etc. For the more complex hardware that might have to work outside the box we use standard variables and list them for cockpit builders who use them for there sim pits here in threads like this;

FlyElite has their own installer and hardware drivers. The quadrant is mapped through their interface. I am not able to use the quadrant when the A2A plane is loaded into Prepar3D. I will send the link on to Calvin at FlyElite.

Update. I just talked with Calvin and was going to email him your variable sheet. Sounds like things were worked out at flightsimcon and the next Accu-Sim update will fix the problem. :D :D :D

I'm looking forward to the update.
