Important note to painters - re paintkit.

Post by ICDP »

Hi all skinners,

I am going to upldoad a new WoP3 P-51D paintkit later today with some minor panel line fixes. I stupidly mirrored a port from the left side of the fuselage to the right side of the fuselage, unfortunatley this port shouldn't be there.

The upload is identical to the current paintkit apart from this minor change. Any repaints already done will need to have this minor fix incorporated due to changes in the bumpmap. I will upload fixes to the default skins and those of the skin pack as well. These updated skins will also have a more reflective/metallic finish.

My sincerest apologies for causing an inconvenience to all those hard working people who have already created, uploaded (and downloaded) skins with this minor error. I'm sure you understand that when I found this error I couldn't in all consience leave it alone, I am a bit OCD about my warbirds. Aren't we all :)

I certainly don't intend to redownload all the paints I've acquired in the last few days, for what? An exhaust port facing in the wrong direction? Or one that shouldn't be there? Did anyone else even notice?
