P-51 joystick

Post by wsciutti »

Gentlemen.

I use a T.1600 by Thrustmaster. When I get to about 40" on TO, she goes nuts with roll I cannot control no matter how gentle or hard I am. :( Fuselage tank empty, no pylons.

Could someone suggest proper P3D 4.5 calibration settings/sensitivity settings for my rig?

Many thanks.

Jack Sciutti

PS This is the only bird I have an issue with although the 172 does take minor inputs, not heavy-handed.

PPS I was a BUFF driver plus numerous others including the 707 and AA1-A.

Yes sir! Controls checked prior to applying power. Some RL habits are well ingrained.

Thanks for asking.

My apologies, I forgot the rig: (like Mr. Dudley I am 80+and been flying since I soloed at 18);

Win10 64 Home
Asus Mb with 9700 at stock but can overclock.
Nvidia 1070 with 1432 driver
DDR3 at 1800. Latest P3D 45.13

I think that covers it.

Jack

PS I think what would help if some folks shared their p3d control settings, calibration/sensitivity.

P3D or FSX, the only thing I know for sure about joystick calibration and setting is maximum sensitivity and zero null zones or you'll be behind the airplane and you'll never catch up...

To all who tried to help, my thanks.

I give up, which I normally will not do but the frustration level is out-of-bounds.

Happy Flying.

See sdflyguy437, you're not alone. If it makes you feel any better, do a search of 'A2A P-51 veers to the left' :D

You are probably right, I have a different stick coming in Monday.

I realize this is not a 'post aircraft photos' forum but thought you might enjoy the attached.

Perhaps the ole' boys would consider a "B"?
