could somebody help me with editing a finished repaint?

Post by Zacke »

Hey guys,

I have no clue of repainting. Could somebody help me to alter some minor things in a finished repaint?

Thanks in advance,
Zacke

Hi Zacke,

a few days ago on the A2A Discord Channel a pretty cool & resourceful guy with the nickname MEMEY explained to me how to alter texture files in *.dds format. There´s a program called "DXTBmp" (check google) which allows to open *.dds files and save them as *.bmp. The *.bmp files can then be modified (e.g. with microsoft paint, GIMP, ...) and afterwards opened again with DXTBmp and saved as *.dds. Never did the full trick myself since I´m no repaint artist but it should work. Can´t hurt to check the readme of the respective repaint if the author is ok with alterations though.

Greetings from EDDS,

Kai
