VIDEO: Another sortie throught the Mach Loop

Post by Dreamsofwings »

Taking the Civ Mustang out to test the GTN650 (or rather test me using it) on an early Spring morning flight from RAF Valley to RAF Shawbury via the Mach Loop.
Thanks to Pil from the A2A community for the inspiration to head back to loop for another Mustang run.

Thank you Lewis! Much appreciated mate.
Makes me think.......could Mach Loop be the new home of the A2A air races?

Thanks for the nice flight and for posting Rob!

That was definitely a weird gear issue. I think the first thing I'd have done would have been to push-to-test all the lights to see if they're working or not. I would think that in the real airplane it would be really unusual to not have any of the three illuminated. In this case, the lack of a red unsafe light was a good thing...but then again, was it working or not... :?:
As you said, it was likely a software issue, but an interesting scenario to be presented with in any case!

Many thanks Rob!

Yes this was an odd glitch. One of those gremlins that visits the sim from time to time! Not sure why but can be fixed by reloading the aircraft. Interesting to have on finals and added and extra dimension :D
