P51 Mustang brakes problem

Post by A2A »

I have used Mustang with Win XP and FSX Gold with no problem. When I changed to Win 7, brakes do not work properly. When I push one, it works, but when I push also the other one, usually both returns to their null position. Sometimes work properly. Their behavior is completely random. I can define no rules. I have tried configure them in FSX and in FSUIPC with no difference.
Thank you for some help.

Hi A2A,

Best advice is to update, find the updater here:

http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 23&t=41279

This may not solve the brakes problem but will bring the P-51 up to date.

Yes if an Accu-sim user you will certainly want to get her all updated, and of course if its a new install altogether make sure your host platform is too, so FSX is all updated with the Service Packs or Acceleration package.

Hello all

I have always this problems with the two brakes together, for example by the landing. They works separatly, but not together. (with the Mustang P51)

Hello Harald and welcome.

To help us understand the issue, please can you let us know which host simulator you're using, and also give us a little bit more info about your hardware setup. For example, are you using rudder pedals with toe brakes, and if so how are you assigning the axes, in FSX/P3D or via third-party software?

Thanks,
Nick

Hello, good morning.

Thanks for the info Harald. Since you're using FSX, have you installed the latest Accu-Sim update? It can be downloaded here.

Yes, I'm very happy. And without to modificate the FSUIPC-ini-file. We make sim-flights with my collegues in our society each Thursday-evening, in this 2-3 weeks with the Mustang A2A.
(military aviation).

Best wishs and thanks! :)
