P-51 Propellers Twisted

Post by ptsully1867 »

A few weeks ago I purchased the P-51 Mustang, as an add-on to MS Flight Simulator X. Anxious to fly the P-51, I immediately took off without reading any details or instructions, and quickly crashed into water. All 4 propeller blades were twisted and bent backwards by 90⁰.

Since that time I have been unable to fly the plane because it always starts out with the same prop damage. All 3 P-51 “liveries” were affected. They appear OK when I’m on the “Select Aircraft” screen, but all views show bent/damaged props after I initiate the flight, but I am unable to start the engines or fly.

We have tried everything, including uninstalling, reinstalling from the backup CD, and restarting FSX and the PC.

Any ideas about what is wrong and how it can be fixed?

Hello and welcome to the forums,

Go to the maintenance hanger "Shift+7" once you start your flight, there you can repair your aircraft. It is good practice to visit the hanger before flight if you have not flown for some time. A2A planes are very realistically modeled and require care. I suggest that you read the aircraft manual as well, a lot of things are explained there.

Don't forget to run the latest updater: https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewto ... 94&t=41279
The version you download is not up to date. Also please make sure your settings in FSX is correct. I'll highly recommend a peek in the manual :D
Kind Regards
Tomas
