Looking better I think. Although, this time it is reflecting concrete and not grass.

This is how my full metal one is looking now. The spinner was derived using the same technique.

As a side project, I've been trying out possible silver finishes. Ready for when the Spitfire goes PBR. Right guys? ...GUYS?

HA! I'm never satisfied. The key to polished metal is in having the polished parts yellow in the 'metallic' texture, while having a very light grey in the alpha. Non-polished parts should be pure green and darker or black in the alpha. From my experiments, silver seems to be a mixture of that. The silver parts need to be more a mix of green and yellow. The darker the parts in the alpha the less of a sheen they seem to have.
The results can be seen in those two skins I did. I've probably finished with the shiny metallic one but will experiment further with the silver. Both are on my site to download for further study. That's the best way I have found, is to look and see what's doing what by trial and error.

Thanks Lewis.
Yeah. Silver looks better than ever now. More proper innit. Can't wait to apply it to some of my Spitfires.
Steve.
