Repaint request AK803

Post by TatoBean »

I posted this in the P40 forum but I don't think a lot of repainters hang out there (noob problems sorry) But is there any chance someone could take up this task? Found this online a while back and since I don't exactly have $1.6 million (even in Canadian!) laying around I guess I'll just settle for the sim version over the real thing.

I haven't done a shiny P-40 before so this was my first.

Nice start Steve!!

What I think is that it's absolutely beautiful and I LOVE IT and I've just found my new P-40
Thanks for making the request TatoBean!

Thanks Rob. :)

I have a question. Should the aileron trim tabs be metal? Think I'll do it anyway, probably look better.

Good call, yep they're metal and they are bent through a process of experimentation to trim the ailerons for level flight...it's a highly scientific operation...
