Do repaints automatically incl PBR where appropriate?

Post by Gabe777 »

So I have the 172 which has PBR inside and out.

Will using 3rd party liveries work properly or do they need to be PBR Compliant, for want of a better term.

Thnx

The A2A 172 has two models. One PBR and the original NON-PBR. Look in the A2A_C172 folder and you will see two folders. model is the standard and model.pbr is, you guessed it, the PBR model.

Which one is used is determined in the aircraft.cfg file, which the painter usually specifies with his/her custom paint. If you use one of mine, for example, you will find an option for either model. But only because I have done texture sets for both.

TLDR:
You'll be fine. The A2A 172 can handle both types.

Steve.
