Simply because they are the ones I fly regularly, all based at Tatoi AB:
I will be doing at least another one so I thought I'd start a thread for them like others are doing. The SX-AWD was already posted in the finished paints and now that the patch fixed the little glass mapping problem I finished SX-AEW too.
Tatoi AB is the home of the Hellenic Air Force Training Command and the Air Force Academy so it is actually a military base. However its northern edge hosts three aeroclubs, all having flight schools. The Athens aeroclub is the oldest and was established in the 50's. I got my PPL from that club flying old and battered C152s. The SX-AWD is not used for training and so is kept in better shape for use by the licensed pilots and rental. To have access to more planes I also became member to the Dekeleia aeroclub who have three very well kept C172Ps, the nicest one imho being SX-AEW, sporting leather seats, tinted glass and long range tankage. I will be adding the other two SX-ACW and G-IMAD soon. As you may imagine G-IMAD came from the UK and so far has kept its registration. That may change soon.
Here are the first two, pictured parked at their usual spots:
The first one:
SX-AWD of Athens Aeroclub:
Real one (an "M" version):
A2A "R" lookalike"

I have added a tint strip on the windshield after I uploaded these. If you like it get it here:

The second one:

Real one (A "P" model):

Efharisto Andrea! (Thanks Andrew!)
One more left to go for me. Then I'll concentrate on flying them.

Re: My favourite Greek ones
And the last one from me, at least for a while:
SX-ACW also of Dekeleia Aeroclub. Maybe the least exciting of paints but those curvy lines were not easy to track from photos.
I still have not flown this one because she was in for an engine change. This morning I was booked to fly AWD and I saw it taxiing out. I can't wait to try it out now.
As always, the real one:
The A2A one ready to take off on Rwy03 of Tatoi with the Hellenic Air Force Museum in the background:
Flying:
and parked:
Available at SOH:

and Avsim here:

There is a barely noticeable grey-brownish tint on this one.
