SAA, that's Scandinavian Aviation Academy. They have cloned dozens of these things! I only ask myself 'Why this particular registration?' Answer..I met my wife in it. I was an instructor and she used to polish it. She did such a good job I married her. Not really, I have no idea why I picked this one.

Hi Ron,
Nice paint, just one small observation the markings on shot two are these in the wrong place or is this correct?

Re: Swedish SAA paint
I wondered who, if anyone would pick up on that. Check out the real ones Airliners.net /Scandinavian Aviation Academy, it would have been quicker than editing screen shots!
And I DO mean that in the very best of humour. I thought I was going daft when I was doing those bits!

Great repaint Ron!
I kindly ask, if you could make the "italian variant" for this one. At my local flying club, we have a C172R, I-MIKJ (previously SE-LPE). The livery remained almost the same...
Reg mark under left wing.
Big logo on both sides.
Small tail logo only on left side.
At the moment I can't find the logo file. Could it be a problem? I have to ask to my Club if they can give me the original logo file.

Re: Swedish SAA paint
I can do that. It'll have to wait till I've finished the Finnish one (OH-CAM) I'm doing. Can't multi-task y'see.
EDIT: I've found just one logo which is a bit 'meh' but I can clean it up. Unless of course you can get a better one.

I hope for your sake she does not read these forums!Ron Attwood wrote:She did such a good job I married her. Not really, I have no idea why I picked this one.
Good thing you uploaded this while still alive, as it is pretty much the paint job I've been wanting all along. I've shared the pattern with that particular individual on numerous occasions, and the paint job far beats those of the aircraft I've been flying. Besides, flight school paint jobs are akin to learner plates/signs on the car - everyone gives you lots of room.
Nice job, thanks a lot! Off to download.
Cheers,
/Fred
Be warned: Aero engineer, real life pilot, sim programmer. Nothing good can come out of that.

Thanks Ron. Take your time.
One little correction: actually there is the reg. mark under the left wing.
