Finnish repaints are hard to come by, if someone would like to take the time to make the following one I'd be a very happy and grateful virtual pilot!

Cheers!/Andreas

Oh! and I like the worn and faded colours :)

Andreas.... I'll take it on, if it isn't a big rush. I'm running slow right now, playing injured!

Here's the front of the aircraft:

The small text on the tail says "VAASAN LASKUVARJOKERHOLLA" which is Vaasa skydiving basically. It's not necessary to put it there but if you want to.

Well I'm damned! This afternoon I was browsing Airliners.net for Finnish 182s. and OH-CWE was one I picked out! I'm so glad I hadn't started it. I'll drop it now and do another one. :D OH-SUN, OH-FMZ or OH-CTQ

That's funny! OH-FMZ is rather nice-looking IMO. OH-SUN looks like a SAR aircraft without all the extra text and markings, pretty neat though.

Yeah, I wondered if OH-SUN was in the process of being SARed up. That would be a nice sister plane to the 172 SAR I did. I will investigate further.

Here's my offering of OH-FMZ. I'm afraid it's a bit camera shy as I could only find three usable pictures. (don't flood the place with photos of it, it's too late! :D )

The real one: Thanks Niko Korpela

CTQ is a special plane in that respect it has been upgraded with TCM IO-550 engine installed under STC. It is (was?) used by parachute club in Kuopio.

Would anyone be interested in creating this paint? It's from a local FBO based out of KROC/KSDC/D38.

Also, it's kinda hard to see but there is a RAC on the tail similar to this

Thanks

Should be possible since I did a very similar paint with. ZS registration.
I am only a bit coblncerned with the size of the logo on the tail. If I neex to recreate it I would need. A bigger sized one and head one. I'll search the net and might come up with something.

Requested by Addman.... OH-CWE in factory fresh and worn but still loved conditions.

Addman wanted a bird that had been washed, waxed, and buffed, maybe once too often and one that was faded and showing her wear and tear. So, with paint wearing thin, especially on leading edges, some stone pits, defective paint adhesion, and grime, this bird is more like what you see on the flight line after several thousand hours service.
