F-TFFJ repaint ((Download Ready))

Post by EightyFiftyFive »

Decided to make a fictional Island Tours repaint for the St. Maarten/Barths area and surrounding islands because I really enjoy flying in the Caribbean and this plane just fits the bill.

I call her: *Tropical Smoothie*,... she also sports a nice light silver paint for the wings and stabs and also has a custom interior to go along with the default green panel and exterior paint.

I'll have the paint uploaded sometime tomorrow-'ish... or so.

...but of course enjoy the pics for now:

Nice looking paint, but shouldn't that be an N registration? Aren't the Virgin Islands United States territory?

No this is St Maarten based aircraft (fictional) which is owned/held by the French and the other half by the Dutch. The Barthelomy logo is a tour company based at St Barths. Everyone get a piece of the pie with this one but only fictional of course lol.

Pic updates:

The two following pics show an updated Bumpmap to lesson the main *heavier* panel lines a bit to give a more finer detail but less pronounced.

.... and while we're at it lets just go ahead and throw on a Polished prop too  8)

Ok and hey... mind as well get a change of clothes too since you can't go traveling around wearing the same ole threads.

**Might turn down the *shine* a bit too. Have to test in several different lighting conditions to find one that works for all lighting.

Thank You for all the comments.

Cheers!

Prop animations adjusted to see more of the tips. Looked at dozens of photos and in different lighting conditions and these are pretty much what you'll see in real life. This is of course with the sun directly onto the face of the blades. In lower light conditions these animations tone down a bit as the sun is not hitting directly on the face of the blades.

Oh and have to have some custom painted headsets for the smoothie!

I would like to download this repaint, but the file is in .rar format. I don't know how to open that kind of file. Any chance of uploading this repaint in a regular zip format?
