Ok, so I said I was going to take a break after the last one. Then I had this idea, and to me, it was too good to wait.

Interesting... Well, at least I'm not the only one who thought it'd be a good look! Thanks for sharing

Re: Cherokee Finished Paints
By the way...anyone want to see what it looked like before I "restored" it?
(Happy to post this version, too, if anyone's interested).

TWO-FOR-ONE POST...
Being that it's Valentine's Day weekend, I was feeling particularly like in the sharing mood, so I decided to release two at once. Okay, really, more like one and a half, as one of the paints is just a "reimagining" of another paint I did.
So here we go:
The Classic WWII Trainer paint I did was apparently not treated to a good home. Never hangared, washed, or waxed, this is why you want to take good care of your airplane.
Download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xk91od2nyyv6f ... d.zip?dl=0
Next up, a return to the classics, with a little bit of artistic license. I like to pick tail numbers with personal meaning, and this one was no different. Additional credit goes to Tim Scharnhop: I borrowed the interior, panel, and gauge textures from his "N9476J_Blue" paint scheme. Such great work, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use what seemed like a perfect fit!

Re: Cherokee Finished Paints
Very nice Jon. That light blue classic paint scheme looks very good on the Cherokee! And that weathered version needs a restoration
Thanks for sharing!

Another two-for-one post to celebrate Leap Day. While I enjoy the classic Cherokee paint schemes, I also wanted to take a different direction. And thus, I give you the iridescent fraternal twins, N181LW and N181PW.
