Good to see that in the final version you even gave attention to the pilots. Flying suit as well as arm badge! Thumbs up to you! Hope all repainters give attention to this finer detail.

What font did you use for the word "Lackland"?

That might be true but the aircraft that's being replicated here has a it yellow outlined as well. Check out the real world pictures:

Exactly. There are tons of highly inaccurate real world paint jobs out there on Texans and other warbirds, and this is one of them (notice the later war roundel is on all four wing surfaces?)... But this repaint perfectly captures the real world aircraft, including all it's inaccuracies... I love that!
