Trouble with B-17 for FSX
Please direct me in the right direction. I am new to Flight Sim and want to fly a b-17 in FSX. I have over 300 hours in sim with Cessna 172, Diamond DA 62, and Cessna Longitude jet. I am having trouble getting my A2A downloaded B-17 to work properly. Since I crashed the plane and it shows propeller damage and I am not able to fly. I also have not been able to access any menu to go to the Maintenance Hangar or other menus such as those shown on YouTube videos 1-5 for A2A B-17s. Any suggestions or direction help would be appreciated.

Re: Trouble with B-17 for FSX
Hello and welcome to the A2A forums.
The first suggestion here would be to make sure you've downloaded and installed the legacy Accu-Sim update for FSX. It can be found here.
Links to the manuals for the B-17 can be found in the "A2A Simulations" in the Windows start menu. When it comes to repairing persistent damage via the pop-up 2-D panels, these are opened using the Shift 2, Shift 3, Shift 4 etc. key combos by default.
If you're still having problems seeing them, let us know. Sometimes it's because the default key assignments have been remapped or because the 2-D panel transparency is set to 100%.
Thanks,
Nick
