MSFS Comanche Cockpit registration numbers

Hey guys,

Is anyone tracking a technique for putting a custom registration number into the cockpit texturing without having to use the MSFS menu to assign a tail?

I’d like to get a punch label sticky in there using photoshop. Perhaps it’s somewhere in the decals layers?
