Prepar v5.4.9 & Connie - Unclear errors, please help

Post by Eugene Kremlev »

I installed Prepar 5.4.9.28482 (Win11 23H2) on a new system, installed C-172, C-182, B-17. Everything works and flies perfectly. When I installed Connie, the install went as normal, then updates, everything was as normal. But when loading a flight specifically for Connie I get these two errors (screenshots attached). On further booting Connie loads in a state with engines running, I hear the engines sound, all menus are available, clicking on C&D brings the airplane to that state. But there are no internal sounds. Can't hear the side windows, can't hear the switches being toggled, nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Connie several times, all the necessary libraries are there, but these errors keep popping up. Could you please help solve this problem, Connie is one of the few airplanes I want to fly. What is wrong, I don't understand because the same B-17 works without problems, as well as the Cessna.

The installation path is “C:\Users\{NameUser}\OneDrive\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Add-ons\A2A\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoS_L049”.
Yes, I read in the document that it is not recommended to put in the folder OneDrive, but I have OneDrive itself deleted and this folder is not synchronized. And yet other A2A airplanes work and fly fine. I also included the error log, but there is nothing in the Prepar3D v5 Files folder after closing the simulator.

Hello,

It sounds like Accu-Sim is having trouble writing to the log.dat file for this particular aircraft. I'd recommend you make a back up of the following folder: C:\Users\[UserName]\OneDrive\Documents\A2A\FSX\L049 and then delete its contents in case the log.dat for the Constellation has become corrupted. (Note that there's a 'P3D' folder in this 'A2A' directory as well as an 'FSX' one, but it's only used by the input configurator, even with a P3Dv5 install.)

Thanks,
Nick

P.S. Will move topic to tech support forum
A2A Simulations Inc.
