Sorry for the delayed reply Piper5299X, I'm away from home at the moment with the day job, and spare moments have been few and far between. Anyway, that long and convoluted file path you mention is probably the result of using the Windows installer system to relocate the whole MSFS app and its credentials onto a different drive, rather than just moving the folder containing the simulator packages (in other words, the "D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-515180230-3964341080-798585228-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages" folder.) via the MSFS installation manager.
I need to check something on my own laptop first, but I'll get back to you asap with the simplest workaround I can find to get your MSFS install sorted and simplified on your D: drive, with an easy to access file path like "D:\MSFS Packages" which shouldn't fall foul of issues like exceeding the default maximum path length in Windows.
In the meantime, reading this topic may help give you a bit of an insight. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/5836 ... -too-long/
I'm hoping that FS2024 will offer a more user-friendly way for users to move the sim's packages around onto different drives and so on, though I'm not hugely optimistic. I guess time will tell...
Thanks,
Nick

Re: v1.2 error
Well, I tried moving the A2A to a separate folder to utilize the shorter file path via Add-Ons Linker, but that didn't work either.
Well now I'm in a bigger mess... I ended up deleting the A2A folder completely, and just try to reinstall with the new download installer, and now I get a message that says "The Specified Account Already Exists", and the installer closes. (See Screenshot attached).

Hi Piper5299X,
If you're unable to uninstall in the usual way, the Microsoft Troubleshooter linked under section 1-C of the pinned FAQ topic should sort things out. I've also posted the link to the page with this tool below.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/top ... f927e1eb4d
Once you've uninstalled it, you should be able to reinstall the Comanche to your relocated community folder.
Thanks,
Nick
