versions. Unfortunately, the military versions have two landing lights together

Short of splitting the Kamov into two folders, I would
simply do an in flight change of the aircraft config... simply remark out the
last landing light entry thus:

HOW TO ADD 3D LIGHTS TO 3RD
PARTY AIRCRAFT
Look for the aircraft you want to modify in the SIMOBJECTS\AIRPLANES folder of
your FSX installation. Inside the AIRCRAFT folder is an aircraft.cfg file and
inside the PANEL folder is a panel.cfg file. These are the two files you will
need to edit to add lights to the desired aircraft. Use NOTEPAD to open and edit
them and be sure to make a backup prior to saving.
AIRCRAFT.CFG
Open the aircraft.cfg file and search for the [LIGHTS] section. This is the area
that controls the lights. If your aircraft is listed in this database check the
entries to see if it is a FULL or PARTIAL listing (a FULL listing will start at
'light.0' to 'light.xx' while a PARTIAL listing will start at say 'light.10' to
'light.xx'). If it is a FULL listing simply replace your existing [LIGHTS]
section with the new one. If it is a partial listing then ADD the listing on
this page to the bottom of your [LIGHTS] section ensuring that the additions
follow in the correct numerical order (light.9, light.10, light.11, etc.)
PANEL.CFG
Open the panel.cfg file and add the following line at the bottom of the
[VCockpit01]section changing 'XX' to the next available number:
gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
If the landing lights are attached to the UC legs or doors and they go out
automatically on the stock lights when the UC is raised then add:
gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to add an entry in the PANEL.CFG if not listed in the database above.
